Immortals: an update...
We're a week or two since the release of Immortals. Midsummer Day is over my shoulder and we're looking forward to bright new days. Immortals is gaining a good number of viewers on YouTube and the response has been fantastic. We have a couple of remixers working on the track at the moment (both from far flung reaches of the planet...) so that will be exciting to hear. The official launch party was on Friday June 12th at around two at the Ragged Moon Records HQ in Stroud. Bubbly and samosas make for a heady combination! The press were there to capture the moment and so were most of the key player in this extraordinary project that 'Immortals' the single, and 'Boy In The Attic' has become. Five days to go and IMMORTALS the single and video go global. Work on the video will be completed today and we're releasing two versions - the official music video and the lyric video. I know that it's sometimes hard to catch the words, so this way the message will come through wherever you are on theis amazing planet of ours. Ten Days & Counting...
Back in the studio this evening shooting the last footage for the 'Immortals' video. Cas number one was craggy and bearded and sporting a dark blue trilby - tonight's Cas was trimmed, slimmer and in Chanel, but the tilby was the same. Scenes included a spinning crystal ball, my gold surgeon's spectacles circa 1880 and some wild versions of 'Immortals' lip-synched with the trusty Alvarez. Editing should be done by Thursday.
