In the meantime...

We're nearing completion of the new album 'Boy In The Attic'. Exciting times at Greenfield Acres...

Wednesday will see us finalising the mix of 'Immortals', mooted as the first single from the project, almost a year exactly since the song was written. The song was written in its entirety one frosty morning in March 2015, on the eve of Spring. 'the last cold day of winter...'

The world is a scary place sometimes - we live locally, think globally, and we are confronted on a daily basis with more information that past generations might have been party to in a whole lifetime. Sometimes the feeling of fear pervades every thought.

Immortals was born out of my own feelings, coupled with the notion that if the end IS nigh, then we must celebrate every wonderful moment we've been alive, celebrate each waking hour, for in truth, it can all just go!

My mother used to say 'do as you would be done by'. A biblical quote, or something from Bunyan - but something that has lived with me all of my life. Treat others as you would like them to treat you.

I grew up at a time when love and peace were bywords to how we saw the world. We thought we could change everything through song, music, dance, poetry, art...I still believe we can!

Immortality for me will have to be the one or two little bits of song that might mean something to someone somewhere.

This next few months are going to be interesting. I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, my albums 'Ghosts' and 'A Twist Of Time' are available as downloads. You'll find links on the HOME and MUSIC pages.
